Troubleshooting Before Requesting Repair
Before you ship anything back, a few minutes of checks can save you time and shipping. Many "broken" mics and packs turn out to be a battery, a cable or a setting.
Wireless microphones
- Put in fresh, fully charged batteries, and check the battery contacts are clean.
- Swap the microphone onto a bodypack you know works. If the problem follows the mic, it's the mic; if it stays with the pack, it's the pack or receiver.
- Check the connector is fully seated and locked (TA4F latch clicked, or 3.5 mm collar screwed down).
- Check the mute switch and the transmitter gain/sensitivity setting.
- Confirm the bodypack and receiver are on the same frequency and that the receiver channel is up on the mixer.
- Inspect the cable for kinks, cuts or damage near the plug and the capsule.
Step-by-step help: Wireless mic has no sound and Dropouts or cutting out.

Write down what you found
If it still doesn't work, note what you tried. Include that in your warranty claim or service request. It helps us diagnose it faster.
Never open electrical equipment, a projector or a power supply yourself. That can be dangerous and can void warranty coverage.
