How to Request a Quote

A formal quote lists exactly what you are buying (or renting) with prices, so you can get approval from your purchasing office. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.

When to request a quote

  • Your school or organization needs a quote before issuing a purchase order.
  • You want a complete system (wireless, projection or sound) sized for your production.
  • The product is sold by quote, such as new Epson projectors and lenses.
  • You are planning a rental for a production.

How to request one

  1. Open our Request a quote form.
  2. Choose Buy or Rent, and describe your production: show name, cast size, venue, or specific products and quantities. Whatever you know is enough.
  3. Add your needed-by date (tech week or first show) and ship-to ZIP code. We use the ZIP code to choose legal wireless frequencies for your area.
  4. Tell us how you plan to pay (purchase order, net terms, card, or not sure) and whether you are tax-exempt.

No payment is taken. A Stage Gear specialist reviews your request and emails an itemized quote.

For projectors, the Projector Finder asks about your venue, image size and lighting so we can recommend a projector, lens and complete system.

What a quote is and isn't

A quote reflects the prices and availability at the time it is prepared. Your order is confirmed only when you approve the quote and we confirm the order, payment method and lead time with you. If you need a quote updated or reissued, contact us with the quote number.
