Paying for a Rental With a Purchase Order

Purchase orders

Purchase orders are accepted from accredited government agencies and school districts for rentals. Payment terms are 2/5 NET 15 (a 2% discount if paid within 5 business days; full balance due within 15 days of invoice).

Some fees can't go on a PO. The Damage Waiver fee and the Rental Flex Protection fee must be prepaid by credit card or check.

Who signs the rental documents?

Rentals placed for an organization need an Authorized Signatory: someone with actual authority to sign contracts for the organization. For a school district this is typically a principal, assistant principal, business manager or department head with contracting authority. A teacher may sign if an administrator has expressly delegated that authority.

The person who signs personally represents that they have that authority, so check with your administration first.

Organization Authorization Form

Renting for a school, district, nonprofit, government agency or other organization? You'll complete the Organization Authorization Form, which confirms your organization, who is signing, and any PO information.
