Returning Rental Equipment
Return deadline
Equipment must be scanned into UPS by 12:00 p.m. your local time on the Monday your rental ends. Late fees begin if this deadline is missed. See Late returns and extensions.
How to return
- Gather everything: every mic, transmitter, receiver, cable, power cord, adapter, mount part and tool that came with the rental. Check costumes and dressing rooms for mics.
- Clean off tape and adhesive where you can, and let anything sweaty dry.
- Repack in the original cases and foam. Damage from improper repacking isn't covered.
- Apply the prepaid return label that came inside the packaging.
- Drop off at a UPS location and get a scan receipt.
Use only the label provided. Don't use a different carrier or create your own label. Lost the label? Contact hello@broadwaymedia.com or 1-800-277-0343 during business hours for a new one.
Who's responsible in transit?
You're responsible for the equipment until it is scanned into UPS's tracking system. Keep your UPS scan receipt. If UPS loses a scanned shipment, UPS requires the sender to file the claim; the rental team will help with documentation.
Your rental agreement controls. This article summarizes the published rental terms in plain language. If anything here differs from the Hardware Rental Agreement or the other documents you accepted when booking, those documents control. Rentals are provided by Broadway Media Distribution, Inc. dba Broadway Media, Stage Gear's rental partner.
Questions about your rental
Contact Broadway Media at hello@broadwaymedia.com or 1-800-277-0343, and include your rental order number. Requests for exceptions, extensions or fee waivers are decided by the rental team; the help center and AI assistant can explain the published terms but can't change them.
