Caring for Your Projector
- Air flow: keep vents clear. Clean or replace the air filter on the schedule in your manual, more often in dusty spaces or with haze and fog.
- Lens: keep the lens cap on when not in use. Clean only with a blower and lens tissue or a microfiber cloth made for optics; never spray liquid onto the lens.
- Power down properly: use the power button and let the projector finish its shutdown before cutting power at the breaker or power strip.
- Transport: remove the lens if the manual says to, and use a padded or fitted case.
- Environment: avoid moisture, high heat and direct haze output into the projector.
- Firmware and hours: note light-source hours each season.
Never open a projector housing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside, and it can be dangerous and void warranty coverage.
